Dear Million Dollar Raffle participant and champion for children:
Your support of the Million Dollar Raffle has been greatly appreciated. As you may know, twice before we held successful raffles. In the past few years, our membership has increased 60 percent because families need a safe, enriching and essentially free place for their children to be after school. To help meet the increased demand for our programs during this recession, we embarked on our third raffle, for which you are a ticket-holder.

Recently our board of directors reviewed the status of ticket sales and operational costs, and has made a prudent and fiscally conservative decision to cancel the raffle and issue refunds to our ticket buyers. Of course Early Bird winners will keep all their winnings.
We appreciate your support of this effort. Please know that our organization remains strong and continues to serve nearly 9,000 youth at essentially no cost to families.

A letter and refund form were mailed on February 27 to all ticket holders. Please return the completed refund form to us in the postage-paid envelope no later than June 30, 2012. Thank you again for your understanding and support.
